Saint Patrick is the commonly recognized as the Patron Saint of Ireland. Saint Patrick’s Day is celebrated internationally on 17 March and is an official day of feasting and has been since the early 17th century. Originally, the colour of this globally famous holiday was blue, but the preference for the colour green grew and took on the colour for the festival. Shamrocks and merchandise featuring shamrock designs are easily recognisable.

If you live abroad and have friends and family in Ireland you call them and wish them a Happy St. Patrick’s Day on us. Starting from 16 March 00:00 GMT until 18 March 23:59 GMT all calls to any Irish landline number is free! If it is a mobile number you need to call you can call your friends in Ireland for 50% of our normal calling rate for the time of the promotion.
